About a week ago I made the mistake of over feeding my 6" ery ery. He must have eaten 6 super worms in 5 minutes. The follow day he stopped eating which I initially thought was just because he hadn't digested the previous day's worms. About 3 days later of no eating I noticed white solid poop. Obviously some internal parasites I thought. I tried feeding him some medicated pellets and Praz which was semi successful. His appetite has returned but now he seems to have trouble eating red wiggler worms. Before the overeating episode he used to seemingly swallow them almost whole but now he bits them, lets them go, bits them again, then puts them in his mouth before they seem to escape.........eventually he will swallow them. I don't now what is wrong. Any thoughts?

Would give the fish a break and stop feeding for a couple of days. Try to vary the diet a bit with pellets, tilapia, shrimp, etched and feed every 3 times per week. I'm sure the appetite will change back to normal. Give it q chance to completely recover.

thanks, I will. Just weird to see these red wigglers not being eaten whole. Almost as if it was physical issue with the gullet of the fish.

It shouldn't be a problem as long as it's acting normal. I think as long as u treated correctly then no need to worry just yet.
