something on my live rock rubble

with the disappearance of the mystery growth on my live rock rubble, i was searching for the crabs i put in for my puffers a few weeks ago. i lifted up a piece of rock and found a bristle worm that looked to be about 3 inches or so, i didnt see all of him. but i also saw one that was about a half inch. pretty cool looking. i was reading up a little bit and read they are good as long as they dont cause havoc and that the eat the uneaten food and stuff. i have been waiting to find some sort of hitch hiker

bristle worms are great scavengers to have and the fun of live rock is what you may get free from it.

yeah ive wanted to find a hitchhiker since i started my salt tank and getting live rock. never saw anything though until last night when i was looking to see if my puffers hunted down the crabs yet and i lifted up a piece of live rock and saw what looked like a centipede under the rock crawling back into it. i saw a few tunnel looking things that looked like they were from him. this specific piece of rock has a bunch of surface holes on it too that you can see that go into the rock.

mantis shrimp are better hitchhikers... but they could pose a threat to slow fish...

yeah i was very interested in those guys too. but i dont want one because i like all my fish and they may try to get them as they go by there cove. i would rather not risk it. last thing i want is for them to go after my puffers, the damsels wouldnt be too bad but my puffers are my pride and joys of the tank

puffers are very cool... closly related to cowfish my favourite fish!!!!!!

yeah love them. i have pics of them in the puffer media lounge. pretty cool shot of my lawnmower blenny too.

i want alot of live rock in there just dont have the money for it all at once. so i pick up 5-10 pound pieces every couple weeks.
