I’m getting a very special fish soon, when I say special I mean extremely oddball, very rare, pretty expensive and I highly doubt anyone here has kept one before I had a long talk and made a new friend with a employee at feeders pet supply and was told he can easily get these in but it can take up to a month or two and will cost nearly 100$ a piece. It’s a freshwater fish that can also be found in brackish.

Moray or scorpion?
What tank?

Congrats...even though I am not personally a fan of coy little "guess what I'm getting!" teasers like this.

But...does this $100 fish come complete with a fully-cycled aquarium? If not, what is the plan?

Plan an having a 40 breeder for 2 of them. Not a morray or scorpion, these fish used to be decently common and be super cheap but now are very rare and expensive, top water swimmers found in the Amazon and brackish streams. Extremely unique fish.

I think he’s talking about sculpin. Small and predatory. Somebody on mfk has most likely kept one at some point. Give us hints
Hard to give hints on this fish without giving it away. Also I plan on either a 40 breeder or a 29g. 40b for 2-3 and 29 for just 1.
