Anableps?
Surprising fast to guess it. Bingo. Talked to a guy at the fish store and said he can get them but it’ll take a while and be expensive. He hair a group of 4 solo in a 30 gallon a while ago and gave me advice. The species I’ll be getting doesn’t get as big as the 12 inch ones. These i believe max out at 6” but I’ll have to double check on it.

Anableps? Hmmm...

Make sure you get a left-handed male and a right-handed female, or vice versa.

Two lefties, or two righties, equals no babies.

And sorry, but...I'm only one of (I suspect) plenty of keepers here who have had these in the dim distant past.

Personally, I think you'd like the Belonesox much more; I know I did.

Rtc/tsn Rtc/tsn if I’m not mistaken kno4te kno4te had Anableps. I have seen some tanks with them, definitely neat fish.

Not sure. I haven’t seen them around much.

Already know about the breeding and don’t plan on that. I’m wanting these for the rarity not personality or anything. I think they’re interesting fish and love the way the look.

Nice. Yes had a group years ago. Easily spooked, jumps and loves a lot of swimming space.
