Hello everyone, theres something wrong with my dat and i have no clue what caused it. Yesterday it was more pale than normal and constantly is swimming into powerhead instead of following me around so i did water change, still no changes in behavior. Today i seen on his fin it is red and swolen at the base of it, and hes breathing heavier than all the other fish. Could this be an injury from running into driftwood, or a disease? In a custom 6’x2.5’ tank with 4 p bass, 1 pearl ray, large bichir, 2 gars and a tigrinus. Here’s a picture of him. If you have any experience or suggestions please let me know. Thinking about putting some aquarium salt in.
