one eye looks funny or the pair of eyes look funny? one of my endli was attacked at the eye and her bulges out for about a day ...if both bulge out, you might have a water quality issue, in which case, i would do a large water change, feed lightly or do not feed, treat with fungus medication .. since bichirs are hardy, i would hold do the first 2 actions above and wait off on the medication for a few days to see if he improves ... keep us posted
 
those eyes are weird looking, but i believe they're 'normal' for your endli, meaning its not due to sickness or anything. CDM has one imported from japan that has those exact eyes. do you know where yours came from? and did you just get the fish?
 
Does it still have the clear lens covering the eye when you look at the fish head on?
 
I have one congicus and endi like yours too man. Here in asia some lfs are selling these kind of bichirs for a higher price as they believe its a collectors item. They name it as 'Xing Xing Yan'(chinese) or 'Star Eyes'. Hope this info helps bro. Nothing wrong with your bichir ;)
