Working for the Humane Society, sometimes i get called to go pick up a cat or dog but today it was fish. We got a call last week (i was off) about an abandoned house with cats dogs and birds but the neighbor called back today about the pond fish dieing. They sent me saying it was "a little rock pond." I assumed it was a small 300g like mine with some fantails. WRONG! The thing was huge. 20X10 and 3' deep and all i saw was fish. I thought, i need more buckets! all i brought was a net and 3 20g coolers. I found a 10g garbage can to scoop water out until it was about 4" deep. I dug through the leaves and tree limbs and got about 20 comets averaging 8" and a 13" koi. oh yea, and a 5" minnow. yesterday i had 5 koi about 4-5" and one comet, now i have almost 30 and no one wants these fish. Free fish suck!
