where do these fish stay now ???

is your place of work set up to house these fish???

and why can you not just try to get a few local LFS to take them from you ???

no, i have them in my 300g pond. petco is the only place who will take them but they will give them to some idiot who will put them in a 55.

Right now my worst cases are a 3month old puppy that had its leg chopped off by gang members. .

I wish you guys were allowed to chop off gang members legs !!!!!! that's sad a hell and they should be held accountable for that..

Post to craigslist and freecycle.org for people with ponds so you can verify they have the proper facilities.

Or You could give them away here!!! put them in the Buy/Sell area for local P/U.

If they were here, I'd have them already :D.

All of our cats are either Humane Society rescues or abandoned on our property.

That's too bad about the fish, maybe you had better start digging (your new pond, that is) :)

I remember something like this happening in St. Louis a few years ago. The Human Society contacted all the local parks with ponds and found one willing to accept them. So now the koi live in a nice two acre pond in a city park. I think the city added one of those little vending machines that gives you a handful of koi pellets for a quarter to make a little coin on the whole deal.

Something to look into

And keep fighting the good fight!!!

sorry your in that situation, but thank you for doing what you do. i will never buy a pet from a petstore, my 2 cats and yorkie were free-the owners didnt want them and the yorkie was neglected.

i wish ppl knew that just because you buy an AKC dog from a petstore for a grand, doesnt guarantee its health or lineage-alot of those petstores buy from backyard breeders. Dateline NBC did a special on AKC registrations, and they registered a litter of kittens as full bred boxers, then exposed it! lol.. it proved that you just pay to register (AKC) an animal-the akc ppl never even see the animal to verify it!

uggghhh ... its maddening..
like someone else said, use craigslist-its a great tool! best of luck to ya!

well i just gave them away. I still had to keep 3 comets at 10" and a 13" koi so im still over stocked. Guess i'll have to do more water changes
