Def. know what you mean; tested my water the other day, and found amo is 0, nitrite is 0, and even my nitrate is only 3ppm on the 50 and on the 30 it's 0, 0, and 1.
man, always had high nitrates, but now, at least stuff under my direct care is all good.
yeah but just think of how good its going to be once you get everything settled!
i also like how the fish react to water changes. just changed some out on the 55. all of the fish perked up. the one lone ghost shrimp even came out of hiding and was crawling all over the place.
the new congo tetras seem to be doing really well in quarantine. they have stopped huddling in the corner and have been swimming all over the 29 gallon tank they are in and are eating voraciously. its really fun to watch. they have itty bitty teeth. and when they are feeding they really remind you that they are distant relatives to pirannahs
