sons 1 gal. aquarium

what would be a good catfish to start out in a 1 gal in my sons room? right now there is a 1 1/2" bumble bee catfish in there. looking for a tank mate, i might just go with an iridecent shark. looking for something active and hearty. final size is not an issue.

lol 1 gal grow out. yes corys are active, you could get your son a baby clown loach, ive got a half inch CL in my community 10 gallon

1 Gallon????... What the hell are the demensions of something so small...

I'd say that a Cory or even one of those Really tiny Pictus cats that the LFS's always seem to have... you know the ones... 1" fish with the 3" whiskers

I don't know not a lot of options in a 1g. But I would definately say no to the id.

1 gal thats small how about a kryptoperus macrocephalus (towny glass catfish) think they only grow to about 4 or 5 inch could b wrong about size though.

i picked up another bumble bee catfish, not very active with the lights on but there hardy and fun to watch feeding. when they grow out of it ill have to get something else i was looking at the clown loaches and there about the perfect size as babies, or tiger barbs
