Hello; No I did not run him off. He was taking time out of his life to help. After three days I was able to get around and had not had any serious problems. The biggest problem turned out to be that my car and truck both were manuals. I was dependent on rides for a while until my clutch leg was well enough.
The doc gave me a bottle of oxy for the pain. I took only two out of the bottle. One each on the first and second morning after the surgery. That stuff has messed up too many people and I did not want to get comfortable with them.

Oxy, yikes, tried and never will go back, nope I'll stick to the good ol well smokes lol
 
I had quite a lot of painkillers after my ankle/foot op and was on a drip for a day and a half afterwards. When I got home I quickly got off the meds and could recover, but hurt my back looking up to read on my computer screen at the end of my bed
 
I also stayed up till 2am chatting with my girlfriend who is currently abroad. The things guys do for love :rolleyes:

She's about half my size, a whole foot shorter and far from broad :rolleyes:

LOL!.....I actually like that "old school"term.I use it once in a while but not when describing loved ones.

Apparently it's very watery there. I personally only have on alcohol that I would consider drinking lol. Beer is pretty bad for me, and wine is just ugh
