Fencing over a pond seems like a good idea wherever you live. We have raccoons and other hungry fiends wandering around.

If your a self proclaimed "SNIPER" like i am you have the accuracy to not shoot to kill. Just kidding fellas yes bird netting is less conspicous then chicken but when is comes to Mr Bandit the coon chicken wire holds well.

rice doesn't work at all with the birds trust me, and if you live up north like me you get visits from raccoons, skunks, and all those awesome *******s. so i decided to build a little electric fence around my pond a year ago, check out these shots i took right after i built it. works like a charm, i used an old neon sign transformer, give out something like 7 000v, of course very low amps.
