5 is a pretty stron gnumber i find that if my dats r by themselves they just hide unless theres other fish or dats to make them compete with.

how big were your STs?

There is research facility at Bungborapetch in Thailand. Bugborapetch is a lake which is in the center of the Chaphraoya river basin, it is the last place wild STs were found. They have a breeding program which has met with limited success. There is no public access to the lab, permit holders only.
By &#8220;limited success&#8221; I think they mean very low with massive amounts of work involved. I believe they will eventually learn how to captive breed them successfully, also private farms are trying to breed them, simply because of the potential profit involved. I would expect, in the next ten years you will see them on the market but they will be tagged and certified, a bit like Asian Arowana.
