At least 300 pounds of rock, a huge skimmer, and going with a large refugium instead of a wet-dry would be a better option as long as you have enough rock. Macroalgaes in the refugium help remove Nitrates but a wet-dry does not. You will still need to do water changes, but a refugium will help lessen the need. You could probably get a way with smaller changes if you use a large Fuge. Mechanical filtration on a tank this size is just not feasable and in the end it would just be a pain in the @$$. Good luck with your set-up. A good place to look for more saltwater ideas is www.grimreefers.com.
