My 180 gallon South America theme
Stock list
2 adult Oscars
2 green severum
5 adult silver dollar
1 large albino pleco
2 Angel fish
1 adult pictus catfish
1 giant Aussie redclaw crayfish (the only oddball)

Nice set up...wondering if , Oscars can ruffle up the Angels, leading to some injuries

The Oscar's don't pay the Angels any attention at all. The crawfish on the other hand has ruffed up the Oscar's a couple times.

The tank is pretty peaceful most the time. I had a mean Oscar before but traded him. These two Oscar's are harmless. The crawfish can get pretty nasty but most the fish are smart enough to keep their distance. The only exception is the Pleco. They fight for the same spot under a log. The Pleco comes in fast and hard swinging his head back and forth trying to hit the crawfish with his barbs. This is usually enough to chase off the other fish but not the crawfish. I don't know how or why but the Crawfish knows Kung-fu. Specifically she seems to be well versed in the preying mantis technique. She rares up and fights with legs and pitchers. The last fight I witnessed she hit the pleco with so many lefts he was begging for a right. I will try to get it on video but lately the Pleco keeps it distance as well.
