Hey guys, a quick update. I got a chance to measure my guy today while moving him to bigger tank. Not a great measurement but I was trying to be quick. I'm guessing from the photo that the end of the tape is about .25" lower than the tip of his nose and that if he was straight and not in an "S" curve it might give him another .25". Im pretty confident about my initial measurement of 6 and and eighth inches when I got him, so about a half inch in 26 days. And that was in a 20 long. He's now in a 40 breeder by himself. I have an empty 75 waiting in wings if need be. Hopefully the need will be.
Another update, and a couple pics from last week. I think this guy is about 8" long now, and built very solidly ( I'm over 6'2", and that's my hand under him, for scale.) Now in a 125 and on a hunger strike.
Pretty inactive cat? Really like the way they look but want something I can see...
