they are very unsually emotional fish. They can literally become deprssed if everything is not to their liking, during depression they sometimes will strve to death as well.

Well, on that note, I'll suggest the addition of a huge wad of elodea or something like that for him to really hide in and feel more comfortable.
I watched him chow down some white cloud feeders today that was pretty cool! I also put a needle nose gar in the tank and they seam to be doing well togeather so far. I'm watching them though
