Where will the orangeheads and peachface go?
As of this weekend I'm ready to house whoever you can no longer hold. No more space restrictions... I have a whole giant laundry room of space for growout tanks!
For a standard footprint 125, honestly if those altifrons and abalios are getting large enough to be featured, I'd say just let those guys be the centerpiece and surround them with the smaller orangeheads. As long as they're not powerfed they won't grow as quickly and I do kind of like the look that my tank has right now with 7 larger 5+" eartheaters and 10 little guys roaming around. I wouldn't go over three eartheater species. As I've become a huge fan of Uaru lately I'd say a happy pair or three of those would make good upper level fish. I might know where to get some Uaru Fernandezyepezi locally, actually.
What would be perfect would be to add those massive abalios for sale to your existing guys and just let those be the focus of the tank and add nothing else... but those are prohibitively expensive for you like they are for me, I assume.

I don't have the Peachface yet, and I have found that the OH are not strong enough, I'm not sure if it is the albios, or the alfitrons, but I have lost 3 of tuans, have 2 of his left and 2 of yours sepertated, was planning on giving them their own 75 as the big male I got from you, if just that, stunning, but does not like competition, and eliminated the other male, and chases the 3rd male down, but with others in the tank, he has mellowed, I may swap him to wenger for some fry, as he lost his show male, and needs a breeder, but they can't run with the big dog's, I have found. I have not gotten the peachface yet, that is a classic pickup, I got the megasema (12) and they are still growing out in their own 75 (with the 6x-H.appendicultus) but will be ready soon, I was planning on splitting that group and giving you 6 of the 12. Ill post some shots tonight, now that they are in a better tank, they are growing fast for a Geo.
Buy those Albios that are on the Classifieds? I have access to another group of 4, but am trying to mix it up a little bit...and your assumption on cost would be correct, shatting hundreds is not something I can do....LOL! I am liking the Sant's idea, but am trying to find some now.....loser! LOL! I may have to scrap my albios, and aliftrons and start small, since that will give me many more choices, agree? You interested in 4 stunner Albios or some Rio Tocantins Green Alfies?

4x2 footprint 125?
I think you're more than filled up as it is personally, even to the point where the altifrons and abalios are going to be fairly cramped when they're nearing the 30cm/12" mark (which will be a while of course).
