I would do Boulengerella cuiveri instead of maculata, and don't forget some type of prochilodus.

Thank you for rour replies. I was wondering if the big catfished would be an issue. To sum up the vulture catfish might be a problem for weak/sick fishes. But what about the brachyplatystoma and the leiarius? They can get quite big, like around 23". I have seen a lot of people associating the brachyplatystoma tigrinum with the fishes I mentioned but not the leiarius.
For the boulengerella cuvieri I'm not really sure because it seems to get huge while boulengerella maculata only reached 12". And apart from the big cats and the stingray I would like to have medium sized fishes.

Like I said before, I would personally be cautious about the shovelnose and sailfin pictus catfish. Their size (especially that of the sailfin pictus catfish), as you point out, is considerable, so they won't have any issues eating a lot of their tankmates if they get hungry.
