Unless thing changes, LFS over there doesn't have much monster fish. Mainly fancy, colorful fish like gold fish, discus, angel fish, etc...
Thanks for sharing the nice pics. Enjoy your trip, although 2 weeks is too short for it. I agree that crossing the streets is very tricky; I actually got scorn at in my first attempt 12 years ago because I watched for traffic and stopped/stepped backward causing problems for motorcyclists. They prefer you just keep walking like what the locals do and they'll maneuver around you, stopping/back-stepping will throw them off for sure and may cause accidents. Riding motorcycle is also very tricky, requiring some skills which I've kind of lost over the years and taken a couple of days to regain.
FYI, most of the stuffs in the fish markets nowadays are farm raised, not like the old time.

Ah yeah I love crossing the street. You just have to walk and they go around you. I got scorned at the airport for sitting on table. The dude was actually pretty damn mad. I've only walked onto one LFS cause that's the only one in the surrounding area. We have tracked by bus to several places but I can't remember what any are called. But yeah I've done a ton of walking but you get to drink beer on the streets which is amazing. Most of the temples and pagodas are amazing. Super cool structures with tons of art.

We just drove by the mountain that's it. I did look it up later sense it's pretty randomly placed. Black lady mountain, good story behind it though. LFS don't look like they've changed then. The one I went into was small with mostly gold fish and other small color full fish. A lot of places have tanks with gold fish and I posted a little pond with some fancy fin guppies in it.

I got a ton more from today. I found the snake while cruising a pagoda. Theres some mud dabbers and something that looks like a rocket far maybe. The fish in fish tank were part of a several course lunch I ate and those were included so I was pretty stoked on that. There's other randoms as well like the fermented pork that was wrapped in bannana leaves
