Yeah i mean i remember knocking mayan cichlids every summer id come to these spots, its upsetting that we've pulled out only a few bass..
We've gone to a few spots in pbc and has seen so many fish jumping, just nothing biting.. thats what im finding odd..

although we did see a few pleco, gar, and a few other tropicals

its still early and not as warm. next month will be better. May whatever fish are left down here will be biting like crazy.

Still dosn't explain why i've been seeing fish top water and jumping like crazy in some spots

Probably two reasons, One The water is warmer to the top now that the daytime temps have reached the upper 70's so they are hanging out at the top. Two they are going after bugs and such hovering over the water.
