'South Park' mocks Steve Irwin

The cartoon is an entertaining joke and it should be taken as such. In the very same episode you have priests that are walking young naked boys on leashes, Princes Diana and Ghandi are in hell, and Satan is throwing a birthday party. If you do not like the show simply change the channel, there is no need to freak out over this and allow further censorship of entertainment media.

On somewhat of the same note, why the big deal over the Steve Irwin depiction, but nobody speaks up about the priests having young boys in chains. Everybody is putting Steve Irwin on this pedestal of absolute and utter greatness which I really don't think is justified.

I'm agreeing with you too....If no likey, then just the channel(that's all)....Maybe if you are Bindi or his widowed wife, then maybe a descent yelling would be understandable....Like said before, to the peeps who did'nt enjoy the episode--->the more you reply to this thread, the more it seems like you appreciated it...You pouring more carosene onto a burning bush(something like that)...

I also agree with Vitality. While I may not find that part humorous I still support their right to do so. The show is rated M for mature audience's, if their kind of mainly sick and foul humor is not appreciated then don't people can change the channel. So really the "Freedom of Choice" kind of sticks up for the "Freedom of Speech" here.

I think there is already more than enough of the GOV. telling us what to do. If I don't want to wear my seatbelt or a helmet while riding a motorcycle, or if I want to smoke cigarettes and chew tobacco at the same time it should be up to me not the GOV. And many, many , many other things that are controlled that I feel shouldn't be.

I do think it as a little too soon, but oh well. Someone will probalby do the same when the southpark guys go belly up. I didn't see it but I hope they didn't try to make him look like a dumbass, like everyone else is doing.

And about the preist with naked boys- we all know whats been going on. Atleast they were digging on something that is an actual news worthy happening in todays world (how ever sad that may be ).

Well did you see the Michael Jackson one? That was close to the mark so if they can do that a dead man is far game to them. Like people have said they are out to shock and make people talk they have achieved it again have they not?

Basically there is this big Halloween party that Satan throws, and someone points out to Satan that there is a guy in Irwin suite and that is offending some people. Satan then comes up to Iriwn and tells him that it's a little too soon and he has to leave because of the costume but the guy responds that this is not a costume but he is in fact the real Irwin. Satan proceeds to tell him that he is getting kicked out for not wearing a costume and security drag him away.
