I been thinking of "upgrading" my 300 L tank form Mubuna to an Arowana. I live in taiwan and arowanas are quite poplular here.
the cost of asian arowana, regardles of color is quite high, obviously gold and red being the highs respectively. Anyhow, i have found a collection of South american arowanas quite cheap in comparsion. I figured it would be a good one to try out. I was wondering if there are any other benifits of the SA A.
At the LFS i goto. they have quite a few Arowanas, SA and A. The A's are always solo tanked. However the SA are usually house together. Is this an usual practice, or is it merely business.
I do think the A's are more attractive. but if i could keep 2 SA together w/o any problems that would also be nice.
In addition i was thinking of perhaps keeping some clown loaches with them (the 2 SA) if they are ok. what do you guys think. ANyone with expereince with these..
Ceaz
PS. i also have some success with Discus aswell as Comets. (not together)
