well if you can get Asian aros go for it

most people in Asia keep Asian aros in a 4x2xft tank so if you can get a tank that size before you get the aro that would be your best bet as large aros in small tanks are not easy to move to a new tank

Asian aros stay much smaller than SA aros

unless you have a 4x2x2ft tank then don't get a aro at all they grow fast 1-2 inch per month until they grow to 14inch then slow down a bit

get a Asian green they must be dirt cheap were you are and they stay smaller than most other Asian aros
44x2x2 won't last very long, and greens grow huge buddy.

Who told you greens grow the biggest

reds grow the biggest

the nami green you all see the pics of is a diffrent type of aro and very rare

Not sure if greens are the biggest, but they definitely arent the smallest

Most Asian Aros, to my knowledge, grow to 2 feet. That said, a green might work for a 4x2x2. But try not to get anything as imposing as a G1 Red or Crossback, color isn't the only thing making them prized as they are also quite thick, so even at 2 feet, the overall size (In this case, height, not length) difference will already be VERY noticeable.

Just consolidate for a bigger tank, that 300L tank will only work as a growout and you'll have to make sure that within 4 months of purchase (Of the fish), you already can move it/them.

Good Luck on whatever you may do.

nami green i know can be big lol
