Southeast Asian Water Festival (Load with pics)

For those of you who doesn't know what this is let me explain a bit about it.

This is about Thailand, Laos, Cambodian and Vietnames (southeast) that would make for boat racing from one country to another for friendship. But we have lots of food, concert, dance, show, music, etc...for sale. over 50,000 every year.

This year is the 12th annual of water festival in Lowell MA

from has travel from Canada, Cali, FL and other state to see this. it's once a year thing.

Looks like fun!

Aren't people supposed to spray each other with water guns during the festival as well? I've heard that they do that in Thailand. Or is that more of a local thing?

it's not new years...only new years they spray water.
