I might sound crazy but what I see is Ricky's fish displays endli stripes and has a slightly more endli looking headshape. From your fish, I see the Guinean lap "royal stripes" and a lap head.
you sound bias they are the same fish Hao

You know me about as good as anyone on this site so you know I don't give a shhhh about sounding smart but don't the SP. Faranah look like look this sp.dabola take away color just looking at patterns and headshape ? I'm not saying it's a fact but look at pics of more recent sp.dabola they look more endli where as the older ones look more lap.

Wouldn't be too far of a stretch to think no one knows wtf is really going on with all these sp.s and our main source of info is the seller.

They maybe the same fish like you said, maybe they name it from the catch location that they caught the fish or maybe that this old picture were mislabeled as sp.dabola but it really should be sp. faranah, who knows?

Everyone can have an opinion. My fish imo is a farahna lap. Look at Ricky old tikinso guinea lap pictures very similar to mine and jaws fish. True sp Dabola look much more endli imo.

I think ricky’s dabola looks pretty similar to J jaws7777 sp. faranah especially the lap marking in the middle of its body, were Hao Hao old dabola and the one the one that Troy1015 Troy1015 posted on top have more endli pattern and head shape. Im not saying im right but maybe ricky’s specimen is really a sp.faranah.

I go back to my earlier point

This fish looks nothing like what is being referred to as sp.dabola today. This thread isn't going anywhere

I don't really see
All that much endli in ricky's fish. More endli in hao's

Imo there is no such thing as a true sp. Dabola for that to happen the fish has to be caught there. Unless I'm mistaken I thought it wasn't ?
