SP means unspecified species. Like crossbreeds . When we do export our fisheries will declare this fish as Potamotrygo SP. . In Thailand some SP are more expensive than pure blood depending up on quality and rarity.
The parents apparently have yellow spots but look very similar to the ones you have posted. My only hesitation is I dont believe 100% that the parents are the parents I have seen. The pattern is the same
yes and no..... I think is what he is trying to say is he thinks he has a winning combo so he doesnt want to give his secret out for others to copy from....
No one really knows the genetics of these 'SP = Special' rays.. alot of them are F5+ hybridized rays that have so many mixed genetics it is similar to that of guppy production..
