Never heard of Orino in Rio Sao Francisco.

I've heard about Cichla piquiti there, and kelberi.
The Rio Sao Francisco goes through Bahia, and I've heard of pinima in Bahia.

The second fish looks like a pinima from Ceará. And the first fish has a pinima bars pattern.

Im not saying theyre pinima, but I really dont think there are orinonocensis on Rio Sao Francisco, watch out!

No that looks more like this one before it turned blue....look at the bars and the headshape

That company is Philippines where they consider Kelberi x azuls hybrid as sao fransico.
They're the same fish as I have but more grown up version.

Another comparison picture.

The picture of yours is around 8-12"
The one of mine is only 5"

They are hybrid between what they believe
Sao fransisco Kelberi x azuls.
That's why they call them sp sao Francisco.

No they aren't calling kelberi x piquiti sp. sao Francisco, if you look at their site they are selling both fish at 8-12". The first one I posted and the second one are both 8-12" fish. They have a thread up on another forum saying that they have sp. sao Francisco in stock and it looks completely different from the kelzuls that they have in stock. Im not saying that theres no way its a kelzul but both of the fish I posted are the same size and look completely different.

Im sorry the blue is 6-8" and the gold one is 8-12"...here is the link:http://www.predatoryfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?14099-Cichla-sp-quot-Sao-Francisco-quot
after looking at the fish a little closer I think Lucas is absolutely right....its a pinima. Look at the body markings and compare them to a pinima around that size that still has the silver juvenile coloration.

I haven't heard of any pinima from the sao fransico.
If It is a pinima will be something ill look into.

From the pictures they resemble close to the kelquiti but just more grown version of them.
We can see after mine grow to 12"
And compare.
