i guess you could say they do, id say BGK's are alot more gentle though
 
i recently got one about 2", i put him in a 29 gal with some glass cats, they were doing fine for about a week and a half, then i noticed that the ends of a few glass cat tails had been nipped off, i had to move him to a different tank
 
yup u can under estimate a bgk
 
I got my bgk last december at about 4". And now 8 months later it is pushing the 8-10" mark. Mine only comes out when I turn the tank lights off. I can still see it pretty good when you leave the room lights on though. Absolutly my favorite fish. The only thing it bothers are the ghost shrimp I put in the tank for it's snacks.

yea its been a couple months now and hes doin great, hes not shy at all, he runs around the tank searchin for food 24/7, i guess the nocturnal gene misssed this guy lol
