i do catch the natives (check out my fishing forum posts), but i want a baby one to start with. naver catch the babies.

Get a casting net at walmart or go online. I got a 7in lmb and my friend got a 14-17in crappie! And he also got a good 5lb bass! There soo fun to use!

Watch the laws in your state on captive wildlife. It is illegal to kepp them in my state, This came from a private pond. The state laws do not control private kept fish. If you catch them from state waterways it may be illegal..

i just used a small trout hook with a live minnow to catch baby lmb. worked like a charm. great fish eat everything meaty. got mine on frozen within a few weeks
