i have a 25 gallon i was going to use to make a reef tank.. but it turns out to have a leak and only holds about 4 inches of water

i was thinking of using this as a herp tank scince i can't have fish (maybe a mudskipper or something)

any ideas?

i had a few anoles as a kid but am still very much green on the topic, and im sure SOP and general care has changed alot from the early 90's

oh, specifically i'd like to have a day gecko if that's an option, i was also thinking of dart frogs

the easiest one?

Why not look at the DIY section and reseal the tank? Then you could do what ever you want with it. Not only that if it has a leak above 4 inches it might get worse and start leaking below 4 inches. Plus resealing a 20 gallon would be really easy.

a trio of leopards is kinda pushin it, but if its a long you can flip it on its side and make it good for a crestie or garg :D

sorry man i posted on the wrong topic...lol
but yea dart frogs are an interesting choice, just wash you hands after if you ever touch them lol...

if you are referring that dart frogs are poisonious i thought that too but a person at a LFS told me it because of the ants they eat in the wild that make their skin poisonious. I guess it true you are what you eat. But correct me if i am wrong. lol

Nah, that is right. However, that means wild caught ones are poisonous, CB are not. WC's poison should go away after awhile.

That being said, you should wash your hands every time you touch a herp, regardless of it being poisonous or not.

Dart frogs and Mantellas are cool, but I like larger frogs. Do a pacman or a Pyxie frog :headbang2

:iagree: that's what i've been told about PDF's

what are mantellas?
nvm... google

how hard are PDF's? and how many could i get?
anybody know any reliable breeders/collecters?
