I would have to say my most interactive fish is my FH Frankie... however, my Favorite fish is Harry my Jaguar. Followed by Carlos, my RTxTSN.

I've got an unspoken rule that every tank of mine has to have something that greets me.

In my frog tank, the eternal guppy. Yes, he is a true wet pet, begs for food and chases fingers, the whole works!:

In the 75, out comes the SB jade goby to beg for algae wafers. And good luck shooing the hoplo cats away.

In my 55g, many beggars reside.

Downstairs I am greeted by a fistful of wet pets and babies. And because my 125g leaked and I'm scared to fix it, my Oscar also greets me.

So, yeah. I'm loaded with wiggly, cute and interactive specimens!

My MBU takes food from my hand but that's nothing special. The only fish or fishes I ever had that were not afraid of my hand in the tank were my Unicorn Tangs when I had a reef tank. these guys would swim around my hand checkout what I doing. They'd get in my way block my view I would have to keep pushing them away. I could put my hand in the tank and they would swim inbetween my fingers let me pet and stroke them. They were the tamest fish I ever kept.

sadly all my current fish are either scared of me or indifferent to me.

That's too bad. My fish will push each other out of the way to be petted. My cat used to get jealous when we paid attention to the fish and not to her. She would cry piteously. We told her that she was our "pacu kitten" My husband will pick up the cat and with a rocking motion say "Pacu kitten goes swim swim swim. Pacu kitten goes swim swim swim" as he walks back and forth in front of the tank. The pacus follow along, forming a parade inside to match the parade outside the tank. It's the cutest thing ever. :)

I just love our interactive fish.

My cat gets jealous when I do a lot of fish stuff. She also watches my big tanks constantly... my clown loaches will tease her. They come right up to the front of the glass, dance around, she swats at them (futilely), they dart away and then do it again... for HOURS.

My most interactive fish was probably my elephant nose. VERY smart fish, would chase my hands throughout the tank, bump my arm with his "nose," eat from my hand, etc. Sadly, he passed away over christmas when I was out of town on vacation and the tank got too cold (weather got too cold outside, and someone turned my heater off in my house, tank heaters couldn't keep up).

PACU MOM, how is your huge tank build coming along?

My old ceylon puffer was the most awesome interactive fish i ever had loved that guy. Sorry no pics
