OK, my LFS uses this blue back ground on some of their tanks that I really like. They have been trying to order it for me for over a month without success. I have no idea what it's called but it is the normal light color blue people use for your aquarium background. It is a dull blue (not glossy) so light won't reflect off of it, and it has some kind of adhesive so that it sticks to the glass and wont let water drip between it and the glass.

Basically it has the look of a painted back, but can be removed if you ever want to change the look.

Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about because my new tank has been sitting on the floor for over a month now.:D

not sure exactly what you are talking about. I spray painted my tank with latex paint, and if I ever wanted to take it off,it peels off very easily.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. That sounds like a latex paint background. If there is a background like TCZeli said I would really like to know what that is as well.

Maybe I'll take a look into the latex paint, but I am more worried about the color looking one way before it goes on, and another when it dries. That is why I was trying to stay away from it.

And there is deff a background like I mentioned. The LFS is using it on some of their tanks and actually has some for sale now but not tall enough for my tank. They have the size for like 20gallons.
