hey guys...
Was at work thursday, just bout to go home when i accidently pricked myself with the blunt end of a sewing pin (which we use to pop air bubbles with in polyurethane buffers we make for bull bars at ARB) thinking nothing of it i just gave it a quick wash n went home...the next morning i awoke to my right index finger swollen up and hard as a rock...i ended up goin to work and getn rushed to hospital with expected blood posiononing...
Here i am thinkin i'll just get a tetanus shot and anti-biotics, and i'll be able to go home, heh! WRONG within hours i was in surgery getting a "washout" turns out i damaged tendant sheeths, tendants and got a nasty infection for there was polyurethane on the end of the needle...what made it even worse was that i had to get it operated on again the very next day...i had a drip in my wound giving it constant anti-biotics the whole time i was there!!!
Sooo glad to be home..who woulda thought a lil prick with a sewing needle would cause so much strife...now i godda do hand therapy to learn how to use my finger again..and theres a possibility i'll never be able to straighted it again..
