Sperata aor agression

So its been about a week since ive purchased a sperata aor.
They have become very common in korea so ive decided to add one to my 180 catfish tank. Since there was almost no info on the web and the lfs had them in with discus:nilly: so I thought it was ok to get him. But as soon as I got him, he started attacking everything. So far it has killed one of my paroons and almost killed my tsnXrtc hybrid. All the fish in the tank are only 15 centimeters max including the aor. So frustrating...this is like the wallago leeri all over again... why w is he so suddenly agressive in my tank and why was he pretty docile in the store?! He is currently in my 30 emergency tank but he'll have to go into a my big tank sooner or later.. please advise.. thanks ;)

I'd concur. My experience was limited to a small one too (under a foot). Necro's is still young too - it was ~1' around the last time he posted about it in the thread I linked above. Necro's has been off the radar for a while. Comes out for a week or two and disappears for months.

Out of your 100 tanks :) , which tank is yours in, Michael, and what are its tank mates?

Wow, really slowed down, from 1' to 2' in 2.5 years. Necro's grew from 5" to about a foot in ~6 months IIRC.
