I had allergic response to sneaky little harmless spider bite as a teenager. So there's no comforting me with stories about thousands of them crawling gently over & around people.

If it IS a Spider bite, I'd guess Wolf Spider, they seem most likely to climb into your bed and bite you when you roll over... I have a Wolf Spider in a tank, they are wanderers, as well as aggressive biters.

Yep and at least once a year a big one crawls all over you while you are sleeping statically.

no lie, I find this thread kind of funny....

anyways that looks like a bugbite my husband got once, down to the little indented dot and everything. Though I don't really know my bugs (other than a bee, dragon fly, fly, wasp, etc, the simple ones) so I couldn't help there...

How does it look now?
