Milky Way Galaxy,
Hey guys well i decided to make my 8'x6' a reptile enclosure. I know for a fact Spiderman lizards are in the same family with beardies. I know they are VERY closely related and have the same requirments. I was wondering if i could do 1 male Spiderman lizard, 2 female spider man lizards, and 6 female beardies. I would also hope to get a hybrid between these species as there so closley related. As spiderman lizards have amazing coloration but are't really handable but on the other hand beardies not as colorful (but still pretty colorful), but are very handable. So maybe from the hybrid you can get smi-coloration from the spiderman with the handable-ness of a beardie?

i think you mean a Mwanza flat-headed rock agama. I definatly wouldn't recommend mixing species and DO NOT make hybrids, there are plenty of super colorful morphs of bearded dragons out there, no need to muddle up the gene pool. Also im not even sure if it's possible

i like there look also ;)

Felix453, animals can have more than one common name ;D

Hybridizing is not muddying any gene pool as long as you are responsible and keep them to yourself. If you do sell them, label them as what they are and sell the to only people you trust will also be responsible. As far as if its possible, I have my doubts, though I have heard of even more seemingly improbable hybrids. IF they are in the same tribe it could be possible.

I see why they are called Spiderman Lizards :D

I think there like Geen and brown Basalik lizards. very close but SUPOSEDLY COULDNT MAKE A HYBRID Now if this is true or not i cant say im no scientist. But in the real world anything is possible
