you also posted this on piranha-fury...definitely not a gold spilo but a very nice looking red belly. I first I thought it was a pyro ternetzi but they are more thicker bodied and plus it stress out right now so colors are not accurate. either way, it's a very nice red belly...definitely a keeper.

Internet research confuses me, audiction what's your experience here? Your post count on both forums makes you look like a complete newb with no experience sorry:-)

post count means nothing. some people like myself don't post much but I have been collecting P's since 1999. I never posted on piranha-fury bec back in the day it was not an active piranha site. the number 1 site back in the day was predatory fish.net but it's gone so everyone had no choice but to move to p-fury which I just stopped posting. a had a good amount of posts in predatoryfish if that's your concern. look at my join date on p-fury...2002. I simply gave my opinion as a hobbyist and not an importer. as I mentioned it might be a ternetzi but its not thick bodied so I said it could be a red belly. it could also be your water parameters are not 100% so the colors are not coming out but this is definitely a pygo and not a serra specie.

P PYRU yeah I've read that, they seem to be a different local from cooler water but if you dig deeper they possibly an sp. Fin and scale counts are the same as nats i believe they get quite a bit larger up to 14" too. They aggressive like Caribe.
Sorry audiction I just had to ask while you gave no proper reasoning that's all pal, you know what the forums are like:-)
