Spinning wet dry spray bar? DIY?

A few months ago I saw a video of a wet dry filter that had a spinning spray bar over their bio balls. It looked like the spray bar was impelled by the water draining from the tank. Where can I get one? Does a company make these? Is it a DIY thing?

Just FYI, they clog easily and stop spinning. They are pretty old school and were used mainly when DLS (double layer spiral) was the most popular media available.

I second that...they were popular when wet/dry first came out on the market. I have not seen them in years.

thanks. is there a name for the "spinning spray bar''? can you tell me where to get one or how to make one? i would greatly appreciate it. i never knew they were popular back then. i was intrigued by it when i saw it for the first time. looks like it works GREAT!

Back in the 80's when I saw my first wet/dry's the spinning spray bar was all I saw. Somewhere in the 90's they became extinct.

if you really wanted to use a spinning spray bar, it would have to be with water that already has been mechanically filtered. This would stop the solids from clogging the pin holes in your bar.
