hrecently baught him a few days agow but i barrely see him, i recently had another one that was all over the place alwais swimming up and down but e got oout of the tankand ifound him under my dresser dead, so will this new one snap out of it ore snap out of it ore are mose spinny eels like this i had a tire rack eel n a 25 han got pgraide toa 40 and i never seen him at all he would pend his whole life in a hollow plstic plant toer thingy.

What type of spiny eel do you currently have, and what is the setup? Some are more outgoing than others, and also vary through different points in their development.
I currently have a tiretrack that started out very social and outgoing at the 3" mark, but now at 11" stays in the plant thickets unless foraging for food.
