They don't respond well to force handleing or being cornered........Even Similis and Pectinata will settle down, if given the right options and opportunities......

You could but its not necessary, mine have never soaked in it. Very rarely do I actually see them drink.

Spiny tailed iguanas have a very broad range but are mostly from dry tropical forest habitats. They are mostly terrestrial unlike their green iguana cousins. They never stray far from their hiding places like rock piles and hollow trees unless they need to bask/forage on a nearby tree.

Keep it like a green iguana and you will be fine, you can offer some protein like pinkies/roaches/crickets once in a while. No misting necesary but not a bad idea to do it once or twice per week. They like terrestrial setups, a 4x2x2 would be fine for an adult for life most likely, I would recommend something like 5x3x3 for a small group
