I thought I wouldn’t have another pleco but I saw some female bristle nose pleco and thought they were cute. I’ll put up pictures when I get some. She’s in my 20 gallon long.

For some reason I thought bushy noses where shy. However I see Spirit everyday and several times a day. Granted I do have a lot of plants and hiding places. What are your thoughts and experiences?

Just taken now and after a water change. I will be throwing in a zucchini at tonight’s feeding time.

Of the plecos I’ve kept, bristlenoses seem to be some of the more outgoing. They’re always in every part of the tank and don’t rush away to hide as soon as you walk in the room like some of my others. They’re also the first ones eating when I drop food into the tanks. Pellets, veggies, fruit, doesn’t matter.

Nice. Although she did zip away when I tried to take a pic of her eating zucchini.
