Yea it's got me stumped mate. I've never come across such a picky fish. Even now I'm looking into his half of the divided tank watching him picking up the Thera a and spitting them straight back out lol and this is after not being fed for 2 days. lucky I put the 2 bristlnoses back they'll clean it up haha. Thing that frustrates me tho is I know if I drop in a heap ON pellets he will demolish them all straight up. The female in the other half of the tank has eaten nearly all her Thera a but it was very slowly. Would try the nls algae max but I've already got about $200 worth of food sitting there that don't get touched. Don't really wanna waste anymore cash

I completely understand what your going through. I had an argentea that only wanted omega one, i wanted him to eat nls. I would starve him a for a few days (which is nothing) and he wouldnt budge. I'd give in and feed him the oo until one day i threw out the oo so that i couldnt give in he eventually took to the nls. If i remember correctly he went over a week with out eating.
Rd seems to think its not a big deal though so maybe dont stress it. May not be worth the hastle to have a battle of wills

Oh, if it was my fish and I wanted to convert it, I would withhold food for several days, then in the AM only, offer a few pellets. Keep doing that until the fish figures it out, which is usually under 2 weeks. After that most fish will eat each meal as though it is their last. lol
