split bars vs. solid bars

just out of curiousity is a solid perfect bar better than a split bar in terms of price?
 
...Depends on who's selling and buying. Some would consider split bars oddball and charge a little more. While some value the "normal" or "classic" look, particularly when it comes to 3 bar indos, and may charge more for them...While some will make no differentiation between aesthetics and simply charge based on type of dat and size.

for me yes

i would pay more for a perfect bar tiger with a full neckband over one with split bars and no neckband they just look better to me

I would agree so too.
 
As already said it depends on the buyer and the fish. Ive seen some very wide single bars and some cool tiger like split bars. I like them both ;)
 
yea its objective... but truly in terms or rarity a sym split, extra, or Y bar is far more rare...
