one of those car wash sponges. got at at walmart since the only sponges i could find at petsmart and petco were small dinky ones that were way over priced.



so far so good. already i'm starting to see a dark area culturing up in the center.

I had to get my sponge from a LFS. That probably will be the only place you can find a name brand sponge. But the DIY looks good.

Just that some are treated to resist bacteria, and some break down, so keep an eye on it..
