Those ingredients aren't it. Catfish formula has 37% protein. Those ingredients are for the trophy fish formula.

Okay, well this is the website that I found and the bag matches the OP. The ingredients are what is on that website.

This is also the same bag that Sportsmans (which makes the feed) has on it's own website and it also says 32%.

According to the manufacturer, Trophy Fish Feed is 36%, and Catfish Feed is 32%.

But even thought the pictures match, the manufacturer does not list the Floating Pellets as one of their products. Maybe they discontinued it?

Your right, I think I had 7 on my brain because tetramin jumbo sticks are 47% protein, I was comparing them earlier.

Looks no different than most other low cost farm feeds, which after taking a closer look at the ingredients it's generally pretty obvious as to why they are so cheap.

Yeah, my pacus don't seem too picky about feeding. In fact, I've seen them consume gravel and lots of it, chewed a cord on a water pump, etc.

Posted a thread about this food maybe a year ago...price is good but its a bit messy and clouds the water during feedings. Readily accepted by all my monsters cats/bass/gar/pacu/turtles. By all means a great/cheap staple filler food if you dont mind the mess. I used one bag and ended up giving the rest to a friend with an outdoor pond i have a few natives in as its not very nutritional. I now use kens brand floating cichlid pellets for the same size pellet and better nutritional value with less mess. kens is more money of course but a better product. id also recommend throwing a tarp or two over that stock pool liner or even a 45mil epdm. only a matter of time before one of those pacu chews through. i have the same pool from summer escapes and the liners are very thin. the intex pools have a bit thicker liner...ive ran those also and still used a 45mil epdm overtop.
