Basing on advice I have received. Im not clear on the history on them being imported. Based on the advice Im given, I would then assume the collection site for the ones that were imported would match it to being Pectinifrons.

Hard to know, but it sounds like you are talking to people who have worked directly with these fish or their parents. I'd still hesitate to presume a positive ID on a fish that requires dissection to confirm. Also, likely not relevant, as they are clearly closely related at worst and likely spawn the same way, and could produce viable offspring for you.

Really hard to breed Raphaels in captivity without hormones and a large tank, but not impossible. Good luck with it and be sure to let is know if you are successful.
