spots on mbu fins

so i noticed little white little cluster spot on my mbu fins.
then on the one side i just check it is breaking up a little bit on his fin . would could it be is it ok our not. please identify

Looks too big to be ich. Are there any fin nippers in there with him?
 
It is not ich. Ich meds can be deadly to puffers. please remove meds by doing an 80% WC & adding fresh carbon to your filter. then add Melafix to the water for the torn fins & the light bacterial infection. Be sure there is plenty of aeration & keep the temp around 78.
 
what do you think of salt treatment and does salt kill plants as goes for this melaflix. this melaflix good for puffers eh . sounds pretty good whats your opinion on salt thou too

78 wouldn't you want between 82 to 84
 
Melafix lowers the fish's ability to absorb O2, as does heat. You don't need both. This is not ich, you don't need salt either & yes, salt will kill many plants. How big is this tank? What are the parameters?
