Do all black rays get white spots? Or do some stay a tint yellow. For example would this ray brighten up or will he keep the tint? I believe this one was 8-9".

Lots of factors come into play like genes,food,light,substrate,quality and if it's a pure strain or hybrid.

All Leo's spots go yellow from time to time. Most of the photos you see of them with such bright white spots are either easily adjusted photos or camera trickery

No camera trickery here lol

Most of the leos that i see get whiter as they grow.
