spotted bass? large mouth?

I think it's a LMB.

LMBs don't get the noticeably large mouths until they're a little older.

Yup. In fact I thought mine was a spotted when I first caught him. He even had dots on his belly like a spotted bass. As he grew those spots disappeared and his mouth got bigger until it was quite obvious he was a normal LMB.

You can be surprised the size of fish a lmb can eat, i feed mine roachs 1/3 the size of them and thats still to small, and yours is a lmb.

Do not ever under estimate tbe LMB.

its a close call i was leaning towards spotted but everybody has evidence that supports their thinking, a few more pics might do the trick
